Covid Precautions at Appearance Assist

• it is not recommended to have a treatment within 2 weeks of an active Covid infection. if you have any concerns please ring to discuss before booking.
  

If you are unwell, please reschedule to keep everyone safe IF you have any flu-like symptoms (e. g fever, dry cough, runny nose, body aches, headaches, sore throat, shortness of breath) then please call us to reschedule your appointment to a later date.

Covid Pfizer Vaccination Information

As the Covid Pfizer vaccination starts for the general public in the next few weeks/months, you will no doubt have some questions around safety of cosmetic injecting around this.

 There does NOT appear to be any increased risk with soft tissue fillers and Covid vaccination to date (https://pubmed.ncbi.nlm.nih.gov/33852237/), which is great news. But 10-20% of people will experience tiredness/fatigue, headache, fever / chills, or nausea. This is more common after the second dose and can last up to 7 days.

 We would like to recommend not getting any injecting of fillers for one week prior to and one week after getting a Pfizer vaccination dose to be on the safe side - mainly to avoid any clinical confusion over symptoms that may develop.
